In December 2017 Consumer Congress focused on Enforcement – one element in the marketplace that is often overlooked that is vital to the success of the market and to consumer trust.
Congress participants helped the NCF to find credible ways forward for effective market surveillance and enforcement that supports good businesses, encourages businesses to improve performance and penalises rogue traders. Since Congress the NCF has established an alliance of organisations to take forward the recommendations from the meeting.
